Bank Transfer Scam

We have received a report in relation to a theft by fraud of a mobile phone.

The buyer attended the seller home address in Heath Gap Road, and shown the seller an image on their phone of a completed bank transfer - this could have been a screenshot or an app that will simulate a bank transfer.

The buyer insisted the seller go outside to take a photograph of his vehicle registration, which was displayed on a black BMW, as insurance of who the buyer was. The vehicle was on cloned plates.

Please be mindful of this scam, and check your own bank account to show funds have arrived into your account. Be wary of individuals claiming their bank is causing a delay in showing the transfer to your bank.
